Position Overview:
Summit Line Construction is seeking a Project Coordinator to work in our Angel's Camp, CA field office. The Project Coordinator will work with division management and field leadership to serve as a general team member for project support and ensure that projects are being completed safely, accurately, and in a timely manner. In this role, it will be essential to learn how the business runs, how changing circumstances are handled, and who to contact when there are questions. Critical for success are excellent oral and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work in teams.
What You'll Do
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Project Coordination and ManagementWork closely with division, field, and project management for successful project delivery.Plan, organize, and direct activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems.Coordinate, schedule, and manage subcontractors, vendors, and material suppliers.Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, subcontractors, and engineers to resolve work procedures, complaints, or construction constraints.Execute corrective actions for delays, bad weather, or emergencies.Update project management on progress and field personnel changes.2. Scheduling and BudgetingSchedule the project in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines.Assist with the preparation of budget estimates, progress reports, and cost tracking reports.Assist with project cost controls to stay within forecasted budget range.3. Documentation and CommunicationSupport daily, weekly, and monthly meetings, including communication, documentation of minutes, and tracking of action items.Setup, organize, update, and maintain electronic and printed files of project documents using systems like Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and SharePoint.Help develop, submit, track, and maintain all project submittals and support documentation.Audit timesheets for accuracy and submit to payroll for processing.4. Progress Tracking and ReportingTrack work completion and provide progress reporting.Conduct project closeout activities and assist with all contractual closeout activities, such as lessons learned, as-built review, and punch list items.5. Safety and ComplianceWork with safety personnel to ensure that the project adheres to OSHA and company regulations.Ensure proper training is occurring.Abide by the conditions of local permits and work with local jurisdictions and utility companies. High School Diploma or Equivalent Degree in relevant field or relevant work experience preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint required; Visio, PowerPoint preferred) Effective communication (oral, written, presentation, listening) Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks Ability to work onsite and travel locally as needed to support the project Must pass mandatory drug and alcohol screening(s) What You'll Get

Compensation Range The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $25.00/Hr. - USD $40.00/Hr. depending on experience and qualifications.
