Project Coordinator

Leidos Engineering is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the Project Management Office (PMO) within the Power Delivery Solutions (PDS) division. The Project Coordinator will collaborate with project managers, associate project managers, engineers, and other team members to deliver high-quality solutions to both public-owned and investor-owned electric utilities across the United States.

This role is an integral part of our PMO, focusing on administrative project management tasks, schedule development, resource tracking, and process improvement, ensuring successful execution of engineering design projects for electrical transmission, distribution, and substation systems.

Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Management Support: Assist project management teams in planning, organizing, and managing various projects, providing detailed data to support decision-making.Schedule Management: Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar platforms. Track milestones, deliverables, and resource assignments.Administrative Coordination: Set up and manage project collaboration tools such as Teams and SharePoint sites.Reporting & Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive project reports, dashboards, and KPI tracking. Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports for internal and client review.Invoicing & Financial Tracking: Support monthly client invoicing processes and track project hours to ensure alignment with budgets and contracts.Data Analysis & Controls: Track and report project costs, risks, and schedules, assisting in the development of recovery plans when necessary.Meeting Support: Facilitate meetings by preparing agendas, taking meeting minutes, and tracking action items to ensure follow-up and completion.Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with engineering leads and managers to ensure client deliverables are tracked and executed effectively.

These positions will be based out of our Charlotte NC, Orlando FL, and Walled Lake MI office locations. You can expect to work regularly out of our office, spending time collaborating with internal engineering and project management teams.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field preferred. Additional, directly related project coordinating/project management experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree

Experience:

A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in the electric utility industry or a project management environment.Familiarity with the power delivery solutions sector is highly desirable.

Technical Skills needed for this role:

Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera P6, JIRA, Adobe Workfront, or similar project management platforms is preferred.Experience with data analysis tools, scheduling, and financial tracking systems is a plus.

Pay Range:Pay Range $50,050.00 - $90,475.00
