Job Title: Project Coordinator

Job Description

The Project Coordinator will support new customer construction projects with one of the state's largest utilities. You will work closely with project managers to assist the construction and engineering teams. This role involves supporting both front-end and back-end construction projects related to electrical distribution, both overhead and underground. The right candidate will be able to function in a fluid environment and maintain consistent communication with the team.

ResponsibilitiesAsset and Location ManagementCreate and process Service OrdersCreate and track permit packagesReconcile material ordersCreate Project Sites in systemsConvert Service Work Order to Capital Work OrdersRouting Job packetsSchedule Meter Shop Inspections and meter installationsDocument ControlData Integrity checks within Work Management systemsManage Lighting Outages and Schedule CrewsWork Order Close OutsHandle Electric Vehicle RebatesEssential SkillsProficiency with Microsoft Suite products2-5 years of experience in project administration and coordination in utilities or construction managementExperience managing up to at least 20 work activities during a regular work weekSAP Experience (preferred)Familiarity with utility operations and utility service workflowsData management experienceAdditional Skills & QualificationsAutoCAD, Drafting, Utility, Civil, Electrical, Distribution, Transmission, Construction CoordinationExperience with RFI/WO DocumentationKnowledge of overhead distribution, underground utilities, underground distribution, piping design, gas system, gas system design, electric system design, utilities, PUD, public utility districtFamiliarity with GIS mapping tools for location-specific projects (preferred)Experience monitoring project dashboards, familiarity with Power BI is a plusWork Environment

Office environment with construction crews coming and going. The job is 3 days a week in the Bremerton PSE office, so candidates should live in the Kitsap area. This position supports work under the pole services group, primarily focusing on street lighting and LED conversions, with opportunities for career advancement and exposure to additional projects

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00
