Project Coordinator
Job Description Day to Day: Our customer who is a leading provider of refractories and industrial installation services, is seeking a Project Coordinator in Syracuse, NY. The Project Coordinators workday typically includes scheduling and preparing for upcoming projects, warehouse supervision, administrative paperwork, and customer interaction. This individual will work under the Regional Manager, as well as the Regional Construction Manager. This job may require up to 25% travel using a company car. TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Construction Support for Regional Construction Manager - Project Pre-Job Planning and Preparation - Assist in setting up job folders and document organization - Load materials, tools, and equipment - Write purchase orders and assist in booking hotels, rental equipment and other job-related items - Deliver materials/supplies to local jobsites 2. Administrative Tasks - Match POs and process job receipts and AP documents - QC Recordkeeping 3. Shop and Warehouse functions - Maintain general orderliness and organization. - Identify and correct routine maintenance items. - Equipment and Tools - Complete daily and monthly checklists for operational equipment. - Perform tool maintenance and repairs. - Verify stocking quantities of parts and supplies. 4. Warehouse Support & Shop Projects - Answer phones and greet visitors - Material sales fulfillment and deliveries. - Assist with Green Slip/Pink Slip processing for jobs - Accept deliverie - Assist with Shop construction work - Inventory verification and counting. 5. Safety - Coordinate Employee Training & Recordkeeping - Assist in scheduling medical tests - Maintain inventory of safety supplies Pay Rate: $23-$25hr (based on experience) We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
