Project Coordinator

Description

- Control Meetings, gathering tasks from team members, updating project plans, analyzing data from changes made to project plan (week over week variances, critical path analysis, etc. Be able to take complex information and break It down into smaller, understandable, actionable pieces of work.

- Serve as a project coordinator working with technical leads on projects.

- Responsible for maintaining Microsoft Project Plans

- Coordinating meetings, driving action items, thinking analytically

- This is a client facing position (internal to Caterpillar). This employee will need to work with a variety of personalities often times with tight deadlines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Education & Experience Required:

- 4-year Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of project related or communications experience working with people and projects

- Previous Caterpillar experience a plus

- Waterfall Project Management

Technical Skills

- Must have recent Microsoft Project experience and will be asked to demonstrate.

- Excellent communication – not afraid to ask questions, drive people for action and push back when needed

- Waterfall Project Management

- Comfortable running meetings

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
