Description
We are in search of a Project Coordinator to join our team in the construction and contracting industry, based in Tampa, Florida. This role primarily involves processing data, assisting project managers, and handling various project-related tasks.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently manage data input
• Support project managers in billing clients monthly or upon job completion
• Assist with the permitting process as required for different projects
• Handle the printing of blueprints as per project needs
• Conduct research and collect bids to support project execution
• Maintain effective email communication with different stakeholders
• Collaborate with other project coordinators and team members in a busy environment
• Exhibit flexibility in handling tasks outside the specified job role
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various tasks and project management activities.
The ideal candidate for this role will have 2+ years of prior project coordinator experience in their career.
This is a permanent position that will pay up to $52,000 depending upon experience. Please apply to Jane Gearhart if interested!
Requirements • Minimum of three years experience in a Project Coordinator role or similar within the Construction/Contractor industry
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create and manage complex spreadsheets
• Strong understanding of construction processes, methods and procedures
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and standards are maintained
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for liaising with contractors, clients and team members
• Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to make effective decisions under pressure
• Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications
• Knowledge of construction safety regulations and compliance requirements
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team towards common goals
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field is preferred.
