The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is looking for a Project Coordinator to provide subject matter expertise to the development and creation of new policy and procedures in the support of a government customer located in Bethesda, Maryland.
Kapili Services is seeking a project coordinator to support and advance vision-related education, training, and readiness projects on behalf of the Vision Center of Excellence at the Defense Health Agency. The coordinator will work with an established team of a program manager, subject matter experts, research and education specialists, technical writers, video and graphic designers and government liaisons to ensure project deliverables are met in a timely manner.
DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Planning and coordinating schedules by developing a detailed project plan that includes resources, timelines, milestones, and work breakdown structuresTracking and monitoring progress of projects by regularly communicating with stakeholders on the statuses of their work and identifying deviations/risks, and planning for workaround if necessaryCommunicating/collaborating with stakeholders on a regular basis to provide updates and address issuesScheduling and facilitating meetingsAssisting team members with drafting agenda, creating surveys, and setting up meetingsDrafting meeting summaries to include action items, distribution meeting summaries to stakeholders, and following up on action itemsMaintaining accurate documentation and recordsProviding administrative support to team members and client as requested to ensure success of the programOther duties as assigned by Supervisor.REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
Bachelor's Degree in business management or a related field.
