Project Coordinator
Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Project Coordinator in Boston, Massachusetts. In this role, you will be an integral part of our team, ensuring the smooth and successful implementation of an enterprise-wide Human Capital Management (HCM) system. You will work closely with various teams including project managers, functional teams, technical teams, and external vendors. Responsibilities: • Oversee the execution of test scripts, documenting results accurately and providing guidance to testers as needed. • Develop and maintain a comprehensive testing strategy and plan for all phases of HCM system testing, including unit testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and regression testing. • Act as the primary point of contact for all testing activities, facilitating efficient communication and collaboration between technical, functional, and business teams. • Monitor and track defects using a defect management tool such as Jira or Azure DevOps, and collaborate with the development team to ensure timely resolution. • Prepare and maintain test environments, test data, and user access prior to testing cycles. • Collaborate with business process owners, end-users, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to validate test cases and expected outcomes. • Provide regular updates on test execution progress, issues identified, and defect resolutions. • Create testing summary reports after each test cycle to communicate results, risks, and recommendations to project stakeholders and leadership. • Ensure adherence to best practices and organizational quality standards in testing processes. • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) sessions, providing instructions and support to end-users participating in the testing process. Requirements • Proficiency in using Atlassian Jira for project management tasks • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting • Experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure the software can handle required tasks in real-world scenarios • Ability to create and implement Unit Test Plans to validate that each unit of the software performs as designed • Experience in Defect Tracking to identify, record, and monitor software bugs • Knowledge of Quality Assurance Environments to ensure software meets quality standards before it's delivered Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
