Project Coordinator
Job Title: Construction Quality Control ManagerJob Description We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Quality Control Manager to oversee all project planning activities, including the development, implementation, and maintenance of project schedules, cost reporting, and status of resources. This role requires detailed inspection and oversight of construction projects, ensuring quality assurance and adherence to standards. Responsibilities + Perform project planning activities, including the development, implementation, and maintenance of project schedules. + Conduct quality control, quality assurance, and quality inspection for construction projects. + Perform construction oversight and inspection of construction activities. + Monitor the status of construction for repair projects and ensure they meet established standards. + Report on financial updates, schedule updates, RFI statuses, and project progress. + Provide meeting agendas and minutes in a timely manner. + Attend all weekly job-site meetings with the Construction Contractor and provide support as needed. + Review Construction Contractor's produced agendas and minutes, and provide feedback to the Contracting Officer (CO) and COR. + Ensure adherence to Unified Facility Criteria, Air Force Instructions, Engineering Technical Letters, International Building Code, Architectural Barriers Act, Sustainable Design and Development, and Executive Orders. + Write detailed reports, including Contractor's Progress, Status, and Management Report (CPSMR). Essential Skills + Quality control management of DoD construction projects. + Experience in construction practices, procedures, and testing. + Proficiency in ISR, Unified Facility Criteria, Air Force Instructions, Engineering Technical Letters, and CPSMR writing. + Strong report writing and administrative skills. + Technical expertise to perform payment inspections and validation of progress against the AF IMT 3065 forms. Additional Skills & Qualifications + A degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. + At least seven years of experience in construction practices, procedures, and testing. + At least three years of experience in quality control management of DoD construction projects. + Certified completion of a professionally accredited Quality Control Management Course within the last five years. Work Environment The role involves hands-on development and support on the job. The On-Site Inspector will attend all weekly job-site meetings with the Construction Contractor and work directly with the client. Engineer Professional Support Services will attend virtually as needed. The role sets expectations for the production of agenda and meeting minutes for weekly construction progress meetings. The work environment includes inspection and oversight of construction projects for the U.S. Air Force. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $40.00/hr.
