Project Coordinator -Geisinger Medical Center Annex Building - Danville, PA - Full Time - Days - Population Health
Job Summary Manages projects with a focus on project planning, project tracking, implementation, problem solving and reporting. Fosters quality customer service to internal and external collaborators, sponsors, and investigators and utilizes leadership skills to increase efficiency in operations. Assists in the development of schedules for projects by providing high level administrative support. Serves as a focal point to respond to inquiries, coordinate activities, and ensure adequate communications and appropriate responses as a representative of the department. Job Duties + Completes projects, as assigned, including defining scope, methods, data collection, coordination of meetings, and analysis. + Develops current and desired processes maps. + Includes the design, development, and implementation of new processes and changes to existing process in targeted areas. + Assists leadership in meeting project schedules and objectives. + Creates and coordinates team duties, schedules, milestones, and tracking deliverables. + Maintains responsibility for project definition, scope, and plan, including breakdowns of cost, major tasks, resources, critical path, and timeline. + Manages expenses within budget allocations. + Evaluates areas where efficiency of resources can be maximized. + Communicates progress with sponsors. + Presents milestone updates, relative adjustments, and overall satisfaction. + Forecasts potential roadblocks and answers questions as needed. + Develops training format, frequency, and materials. + Presents training sessions to support process and work method changes as necessary. + Provides recommendations and solicits feedback from leadership regarding current activities and project initiatives.
