Project Coordinator II
Description: The Project Coordinator will support a wide-range of projects within the Salesforce AI Research Team. This role will report into the operations team supporting the Research Program Manager and COO. The Project Coordinator should be extremely proactive and consistently look for ways to improve processes. The ideal candidate for this role will be able to work autonomously, able to communicate effectively, and be well-organized with a very high attention to detail.

Tasks for the Salesforce AI Research Team will include:
Procurement/Vendor Management (15+ hours a week)
New vendor process: Help keep security reviews moving forward, following up on contract discussions and with third party contacts.
Opening POs and managing spend against budget. Process change orders as needed.
Paper submissions and tracking (5 hours a month)
Partner with marketing in making sure accepted papers are reflected on socials.
Blog posts: partner with marketing to get descriptions of each paper and ensure timely delivery
Keep all records of paper submissions and acceptances up to date.
University / conference partnerships or sponsorships (during high season: 10-15 hours a week)
Additional Operations support for All hands, offsites, VTO / Team events. In person attendance for some of these events may be required. (5 hours a month)
Onboarding support - keep on boarding documents, tracking docs, email/slack lists up to date, and provide hiring manager support (during high season: ~5-10 hours a week)
Intern program support - project plans, extension management, light budget management (during high season: ~10 hours a week)
Swag purchases, reviewing options with leadership, liaising with vendor and distributing goods to employees (30 hours a quarter)
