Project Coordinator II

GENERAL DESCRIPTION \n

The Project Coordinator is responsible for facilitating and organizing various aspects of the Project Management business field. Business acumen and technical savvy are key to success. Projects may include any of the following activities: prototyping, manufacturing, kitting, integration, and delivery. The Project Coordinator plays a crucial role supporting the Project and\/or Program Manager in the execution of Projects within defined timelines and scope. Keys to success are flexibility, perseverance, diligence, and willingness to learn and grow in Project Management field.\n

DUTIES\n\nDrafting presentation material\/s for meetings, internal and customer focused.\nCoordinate, Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings and ensure all products are distributed to stakeholders. \nRecord meeting minutes during meetings.\nMaintaining weekly, monthly and quarterly project status updates for the Project Manager.\nUtilize organizational databases such as Costpoint, Tyonek One, and SharePoint daily to support various program activities.\nMonitor project's Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)\nUnderstand and identify Risks management and mitigation efforts.\nAccurately process Contract Data Requirements list (CDRL) items for customer delivery.\nDevelop Bill of Materials (BOM) required using drawings and\/or statement of work (SOW).\nSubmit Purchase Requests (PR) to procure parts and\/or raw materials for assemblies, kits and fabricated parts. Coordinate shipping for kits and materials to manufacturing locations.\nWork with Project Managers to facilitate communication and synchronize program tasks.\nOther duties may be assigned.\n\n

EDUCATION\/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS \n\nBachelor's Degree and 2 years task related experience or enrolled in pursuit of a bachelor's degree with 4 years in a military technical field.\nDoD Acquisitions and manufacturing procurement experience is desired.\nAircraft experience is desirable.\nComputer skills; MS Office Suite; MS Project; with ability to learn additional computer skills.\nInterpersonal skills to work effectively and cooperatively with all levels of management and staff. \nWill also routinely interact with external stakeholders such as customers, vendors, suppliers, etc.\nStrong problem-solving skills: ability to draw conclusions and make recommendations for problem resolution.\nHigh degree of self-motivation and the ability to work in a Team and independently.\nWe maintain a drug-free workplace and perform post offer, pre-employment substance abuse testing.\nMust be a U.S. Citizen.\nBe able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.\nBe able to occasionally travel in support of the program.\nWe maintain a drug-free workplace and perform post offer, pre-employment substance abuse testing.\n\n
