The Project Coordinator supports the Program Manager by maintaining document control while tracking project activities and coordinating team communications to ensure project goals are accomplished within the scheduled time frame and budget parameters.
The Project Coordinator will be expected to attend program related meetings, track all high level project activities to include the tracking of all purchase orders, and communicate overall project status to the Program Manager on a weekly basis. The goal of the Project Coordinator is to support the Program Manager by assisting in the creation and tracking of all program related collateral and communications.
Financials:
Track and report all project related financials including actual and forcasted labor, hardware and software expenses.
Track progress of purchase orders from initiative through receipt and project expense reporting. Expedite activities as required to keep project on time
Product project financial summaries for Project stakeholder and sponsor communications
Project Plan Management:
Track progress on all project tasks.
Publish progress reports highlighting risks to task target dates, project financial and project timeline
Hold project team members accountable for completing tasks on time
Develop and publish project status reports
Documentation:
Maintain document control and track project activities and team communications
Prepare and/or edit meeting minutes, presentations and tables
File and maintain all project documentation (soft and hard copies)
Create and publish project team meeting minutes
Communications:
Ensure coordination between all work streams within the program
Compile and create stakeholder program communications reports

(Visible Externally) College degree required
2 to 5 years of project coordinator and/or project management experience
Expert in all aspects of Microsoft Office – especially Excel
Comfortable in self-directed environment
Ability to write coherent and succinct status/progress reports
Detail oriented, able to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines
Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills
Ability to maintain organized and accurate project records/files
Ability to operate in a dynamic and changing environment
Working Conditions
The Project Coordinator will typically spend their day working in Program Office. Extensive computer use is expected
