RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinate with the Project Manager and field staff on material deliveries from the warehouse or supply businesses to job locations as needed, including deliveries with a heavy-duty pickup and trailer (enclosed or flatbed). Coordinate maintenance and repairs to fleet vehicles with employees. Manage inventory and shop tool cage. Manage shipping and receiving. Operate forklifts, warehouse machinery, and company vehicles in accordance with state laws and company policies. Support panel shop with material inventory counts for automation panel builds. Maintain a well-kept and safe working environment in the workplace. Participate in company safety meetings to ensure a “Zero Incident Safety Culture”. Comply with all company Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures. Engage in operations meetings with the management team to ensure clarity on the requirements for achieving project goals and deadlines. Report all maintenance, safety, and any other concerns to the Area Operations Manager. Manage project related documents by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed, and stored. Oversee clerical tasks to support the area operations manager. Assist with administrative needs for operation. Assist with HSE equipment needs for operation. REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or equivalent. 5 years’ experience in Project Coordination. 5 years’ experience in Shipping and Receiving. Must have a valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record. CDL not required. Forklift operating experience preferred. Must be able to multi-task and work efficiently. Demonstrate excellent time management and possess strong communication skills. Must be a self-starter who is open to making suggestions for improving operations and procedures. Subject to a background check, as well as drug and alcohol testing, per applicable federal regulations. Must be able to take direction, work well in a team environment, and interact with all levels of management, engineering, systems, operations, and field personnel. Must be able to reliably commute to New Iberia, LA. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Full-time, Monday through Friday schedule, with availability for after-hour call out support as needed. Standard 8-hour workday in a warehouse and/or office setting. Light lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling, bending, and/or climbing may apply. Located in New Iberia, LA.
