Project Coordinator Research

Summary:
Are you passionate about advancing pediatric health equity research? Join the dedicated team at the Pediatric Health Disparities Research Program at Rhode Island Hospital/Brown Medical School as a full-time Clinical Research Project Coordinator. In this role you will help drive innovative research studies focused on pediatric behavioral health including asthma and sleep disparities in urban school-aged children. Work alongside esteemed faculty supervisors who are leaders in clinical psychology and pediatric health disparities research

Responsibilities:

As a Clinical Research Project
Coordinator you will play a key role in overseeing the implementation and
execution of research projects. Your contributions will include:

Project Oversight &
Coordination: Assist the Project Director with management of day-to-day
operations of research studies ensuring adherence to protocols timelines and
regulatory requirements.

Data Collection & Quality
Assurance: maintain high-quality data collection procedures including surveys
interviews electronic monitoring and biological samples.



?      
Study Implementation: Coordinate
participant recruitment scheduling and engagement while ensuring ethical
research conduct.



?      
Research Administration: Assist
with IRB submissions regulatory compliance and protocol amendments.



?      
Liaison & Communication: Act
as a point of contact between research staff collaborators study sites and
community partners.



?      
Data Management & Reporting:
Oversee research databases track study progress and contribute to progress
reports grant submissions and dissemination efforts (e.g. conference
presentations manuscripts).



?      
Team Supervision & Training:
Provide guidance and support to Clinical Research Assistants and student
interns fostering a collaborative and efficient research environment.



Technology & Workflow Optimization: Utilize
research-related software (e.g. REDCap QualtricsMicrosoft Office 365) and
implement workflow improvements for project efficiency

Other information:

Are you the ideal candidate? Here�s what we�re looking for:

? Education: Bachelor�s or Master�s degree in Public Health Psychology Life Sciences Social Sciences or a related field.

? Experience: At least two to three years of related experience in research coordination preferably in behavioral health or pediatric studies. Experience supervising staff and students is a plus.

? Research & Analytical Skills: Familiarity with multi-methods research data management and study design.

? Project Management & Organization: Strong ability to prioritize tasks meet deadlines and manage multiple projects efficiently.

? Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint) and research tools such as REDCap Qualtrics and other data management platforms.

? Communication & Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

? Flexibility & Problem-Solving: Adaptability to shifting priorities problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot research-related challenges effectively.

? Diversity & Inclusion: Experience working in ethnically culturally and racially diverse communities. Spanish and English fluency (written and spoken) is highly desireable

? Commitment: A passion for health equity research and a minimum two-year employment commitment to the role.

Work Schedule:

The standard schedule is Monday � Friday 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM though flexibility is required for weekend research activities on a rotating schedule with other team members. The team operates on a flex-time basis to accommodate study participants and ensure the success of our research initiatives.
