Summary\:
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Cost Estimator to join our Integrated Project Management Team (iPMT). The successful candidate will be responsible for developing cost estimates for the project during the BFS (Bankable Feasibility Study) phase. This critical role ensures accurate cost forecasting and alignment with budget objectives by working closely with engineering and procurement teams.

Key Responsibilities\:

Cost Estimation\: Develop detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment required for the project.
Utilize industry-standard methodologies and tools to ensure accuracy and reliability of cost estimates. Collaboration with Engineering and Procurement Teams\: Work closely with engineering teams to understand project specifications and requirements. Coordinate with procurement teams to obtain accurate pricing for materials and services. Cost Forecasting\: Ensure cost estimates are aligned with project budget objectives and financial constraints. Provide regular updates on cost forecasts to project management and other stakeholders. Data Analysis and Reporting\: Analyze historical data and current market trends to inform cost estimation processes. Prepare and present cost estimation reports, highlighting key insights and variances from initial estimates. Documentation and Record-Keeping\: Maintain comprehensive documentation of all cost estimation activities, including methodologies, assumptions, and data sources. Ensure all cost estimation records are organized and accessible for future reference. Continuous Improvement\: Identify opportunities for improving cost estimation processes and tools. Stay updated with industry best practices and incorporate them into the cost estimation workflow. *

Qualifications\:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or a related field. Extensive experience in cost estimation within the engineering or construction sector, preferably in the BFS phase. Strong analytical and numerical skills, with a keen attention to detail. Proficient in cost estimation software and tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications\:

Master’s degree in a related field. Professional certifications in cost estimation or project management. Experience working in an Integrated Project Management Team (iPMT).
