Project Cost / Inventory Project (contract)
Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Project Cost / Inventory Project in Dallas, Texas. The selected candidate will be involved in a cross-functional role with a major focus on reconciliation and cleanup activities in the industry. This is a 9-12 month contract position. 100% ONSITE in the office for first month of training and then some flexibility to work from home 1 day a week. Responsibilities: • Align PO’s, CIP, and fixed assets into the correct subsidiary as part of our land re-Platt cleanup initiative. • Oversee the reconciliation of Owner Furnished Contractor Installed (OFCI) equipment inventory and deposit balances in NetSuite. • Ensure complete accuracy of system and physical locations by auditing and reconciling inventory transactions. • Establish a process for intercompany cost transfers from Parent deposit account to subsidiaries. • Work together with Financial Analysts to track the financial allocation of OFCI inventory from parent to subsidiaries. • Develop Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documentation in collaboration with Supply Chain, Delivery, Finance, and Accounting. • Handle other Project Accounting tasks as necessary. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in Project Cost or Inventory Accounting. • Proven skills in Project Cost and Inventory Accounting are mandatory. • Demonstrated ability to work in intercompany environments. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required. • Proficient in Office Suite, specifically Excel, and accounting software. • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards. • Experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
