**Overview** **Project Developer - Data Center and Energy Efficiency Projects with Electrical/UPS design Emphasis** **Job Overview:** As a Project Developer specializing in Data Center and Energy Efficiency projects, with a focus on Electrical and large UPS systems, you will play a crucial role in identifying, developing, and executing initiatives to enhance the energy efficiency and sustainability of data centers. This role demands a unique blend of sales, engineering, project development, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of data center design and operation. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. **Project Identification and Assessment:** 2. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather project requirements and objectives. 3. Conduct thorough assessments of data center facilities to identify opportunities for infrastructure and energy efficiency improvements, particularly in Electrical and UPS systems. 4. Review drawings and specifications as required to identify project requirements. 5. Develop detailed scopes of work and specifications to address project objectives. 6. Prepare cost estimates to allow business case discussion with stakeholders 7. **Proposal Development:** 8. Work closely with Engineers and subcontractors to develop bid documents and firm project costs 9. Develop comprehensive project proposals including detailed scopes of work, plans for Electrical and mechanical system upgrades, energy-efficient technologies, and renewable energy integration. 10. Ensure proposals align with client needs, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. 11. **Technical Expertise – Electrical and UPS Systems:** 12. Leverage in-depth knowledge of data center electrical and UPS systems, as well as electrical engineering, to design and implement energy-efficient solutions. 13. Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure optimal design, performance and sustainability in data center environments. 14. **Financial Analysis:** 15. Conduct financial assessments and cost-benefit analyses to demonstrate the economic viability of proposed projects. 16. Provide accurate estimates for budgeting and project feasibility. 17. **Stakeholder Engagement:** 18. Cultivate relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate project development and implementation. 19. Act as a liaison between technical teams and clients to ensure seamless communication. 20. **Regulatory Compliance:** 21. Stay current on industry regulations and standards related to data center operations, energy efficiency, and electrical systems. 22. Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations. **Qualifications:** + Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Management, or a related field.
