Project Director

Job Description:

The Incumbent will manage and direct the day-to-day administrative and research operations of active projects including managing communications, data, and overseeing workflow is responsible for contributing to protocol development, conducting analyses with quantitative data and supervising research assistants in these efforts, interpreting findings, and contributing substantively to dissemination efforts such as manuscripts and conference presentations. With the finance department, helps manage invoicing and project spending/projections. With the PI, this position is responsible for managing communication with internal and external collaborators, project budgeting, and relevant funder required reporting.

Job QualificationsEducationMaster’s Degree in public health, or related fieldExperienceSignificant experience in quantitative research, including the design, conduct, and analysis of quantitative research (5 or more years)Substantial project direction experience (5 or more years)Experience in the field of public healthExperience working with IRB applications

Job CompetenciesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlinesUnderstanding of research ethics and requirementsHigh level of proficiency with MS Office suite, Google suite, Adobe Acrobat ProProficiency with R or other quantitative analysis softwareKnowledge of research design, measurement issues, and sampling

This full-time fixed-term position has an end-date of 12/31/25 and may be extended based on the availability of grant funding.
