This is a remote, project-based position, in Prudhoe Bay, AK, with an expected duration of 5-6 weeks. The anticipated start is late February/early March 2025.
The typical schedule is 84 hours per week (40 hours straight time and a minimum of 44 hours at time and a half). All meals and lodging are provided by Worley while the employee is on location. Transportation between Anchorage and Prudhoe Bay is provided.
Job Purpose\:
This position performs Electrical and Instrumentation quality control functions to assure compliance with project and client requirements under general supervision. Receives instruction on specific assignment objectives and work is reviewed by general supervision.
Essential Job Functions\:
· Maintain compliance with established project, corporate and customer quality assurance and control requirements.
· Review engineering drawings and track quality progress based on scope of work documents.
· Update Quality Control files.
· Perform Field and/or Fab Shop inspections.
· Assist in the review of installation procedures.
· Notifies supervisors of any discrepancies found between work completed and/ or material installed and client quality requirements.
· Compiles incomplete work list (IWL) and coordinates with craft supervision to close items out.
· Perform special process inspections and surveillance of equipment and materials.
· Attend training sessions, seminars, and appropriate educational classes as required by department.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities\:
· Advanced understanding of electrical circuits including the operation and function of typical electrical devices and machinery such as solenoids, relays, motors, transformers, switches, motor control centers, generators, batteries, and lighting systems.
· Possess an excellent knowledge of the National Electric Code.
· Adequate written and oral communications applicable to standards set by organization.
· Ability to interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
· Proficient in NFPA70E.
· Possess current knowledge of Engineering, Business Administration, quality control and organizational practices.
Physical Demands/Work Environment\:
Work is performed in a remote Arctic environment with limited medical resources. Candidate understands the site is approximately 840 miles (at least 4 hours by air ambulance) from surgical, specialist, and tertiary medical care, and where medical evacuation from this location may be significantly delayed due to weather conditions. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is required to\:
· Must have ability to stand, walk on level, uneven and slippery surfaces, sit, squat, kneel, crawl, reach through low and high ranges, work overhead, and exhibit normal balance and coordination. These basic physical requirements are essential for safe performance of the job in harsh environments with exposure to very cold temperatures and while wearing arctic gear.
· Standing for prolonged periods of time.
· Driving for prolonged periods of time in the dark and inclement weather
· Ability to climb scaffold, ramps, stairs, equipment, portable ladders, and/or wellhouse/tank/facility fixed ladders of 20 feet or greater.
· Ability to wear and utilize fall protection within manufacturer specifications.
· Lift 50 lbs. from floor to waist with two hands.
· Lift 50 lbs. from floor to shoulder with two hands.
· Carry 50 lbs. for 15 feet with two hands.
· Push/pull 60 lbs. sled for 20 feet.
· Push/pull 90 lbs. cart for 20 feet.

· Must possess/ obtain State of Alaska Journeyman Certificate of Fitness prior to starting.
· Minimum of four (4) years of related electrical and quality control inspection experience.
· Valid driver’s license and the ability to be covered by Worley auto insurer.
· High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
Preferred Qualifications\:
· State of Alaska Electrical Administrators license.
· BA/BS college or university degree in Engineering.
· Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel, working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems.
