As part of the Lab Infrastructure Team, you’ll develop and support test benches for International trucks, covering everything from basic development and diagnostics to specialized rigs for validating vendor software and Hardware in the Loop (HIL) testing. Your work will involve simulating vehicle systems, including powertrains, sensors, and loads, for closed-loop functional testing. You’ll also contribute to developing test frameworks and automation using Python or similar languages. Responsibilities • Perform in a team environment and collaborative atmosphere• Utilize HIL toolsets to develop dynamic models of vehicle sub-systems for closed loop software testing• Support Hardware in the Loop (HIL) industry standard software and hardware• Support virtual vehicle-in-the-loop (ViL) eMobility propulsion and vehicle real-time testing and simulator platform• Support development of eVehicle plant & controller models for multi-speed EV drive, HV battery, HV accessory loads, etc.• Actively participate in internal and external peer reviews to foster continuous improvement of both the products and the development process Minimum Requirements + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science + At least 5 years of experience in product design/development and/or computer science experience OR + Master’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science + At least 3 years of experience in product design/development and/or computer science experience OR + PhD in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science Additional Requirements + Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
