MSA has an opportunity for a Project Engineer at our Rhinelander, WI office. You will have the opportunity to see, and contribute in, projects from start to finish. The various projects you'll be working on make a significant and positive impact on the communities you serve.

Responsibilities

The work you will do

Project management including project planning, scoping, budgeting and QA/QCClient relations including council meetings with clientsDesign of municipal infrastructure projectsAssist with mentoring junior engineering staffPreparation of plans, details, specifications, and bidding documents
Preparation of technical reports and regulatory permits for projectsDevelopment of project funding packages with assistance from funding staff Qualifications

What you bring
Skills & Knowledge / Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering requiredMinimum of 5 years of civil engineering experience including general municipal and design and construction is requiredThe ideal candidate will have 8 or more years of prior experience PE license required, WI PE preferred Previous client liaison and project management experience or a desire to step into that role is requiredSolid written and verbal communication skillsDesire to work in a consulting environmentThis position requires you to have authorization to work in the United States for any employer. We will not provide sponsorship for this position.
