ENERCON's Advanced Nuclear Division is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join the ENERCON team at various office / site locations across the U.S. This role would support unique and exciting work in the advanced / new nuclear market including advanced and small modular reactor (SMR) technology development, plant siting, and licensing.

Responsibilities Provide interdisciplinary coordination for design engineering projects and serve as a technical leader to ensure the project solution and quality goals are metWork with technical staff to develop winning, highly technical, engineering proposalsPlan, execute, and finalize projects according to established schedule and within budgetUnderstand project schedules, project management plans, and manage project staff to ensure project requirements are metFormulate/develop detailed project reportsUnderstand project financials and be able to report regularly to management on financial status and overall project performanceFoster and maintain working relations with assigned clients and act as a single point of contact for assigned projectsManage client interactions and negotiate / control project scope to client and company's satisfactionAggressively support marketing efforts, including identification of new opportunities, proposal preparation, and follow-up Qualifications Design Engineering experience with the modification and implementation process, calculations, specifications, etc. in a nuclear energy facilityMinimum of 5 years' experience in the nuclear industry as an Engineer or Project ManagerBachelor's Degree in Engineering (or a related field) -OR- PMP Certification and 8 years' applicable experienceAbility to understand and work with budget and accounting processesExcellent organizational, time management, strategic planning, writing, communication, decision-making, and presentation skillsEffective communication skills with demonstrated ability to work across disciplines and teamsWorking knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPointAbility to gain and maintain unescorted access at nuclear sitesAbility to travel between 15-25% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs, ranging from a few days to a few weeksPosition may occasionally require a client site assignment lasting several months at a time
