STRIVE stands for Safety, Teamwork, Responsiveness, Integrity, Value, and Excellence.Job Responsibilities:Prepare proposals and reportsConduct geotechnical investigations and prepare Geotechnical Evaluation Reports as needed for various assigned projectsReview geophysical investigations to obtain additional site information to supplement traditional geotechnical investigation methodsPrepare, review and approve Pavement Quality Reports, Selected Backfill Reports, Trench Backfill Reports, and other public entity certification reports for private and public developmentsPerform computer technical support and analysis with programs such as GIS, GINT, Geosystems, AutoCad, Lpile, and StablePro as needed for various assigned projectsProvide field inspection support and active field training for new and growing special inspectors and materials testing techniciansRequired Qualifications:B.S. in Civil Engineering required Master’s degree in Civil Engineering preferred5+ years' experience in construction special inspections and materials testingNevada project experience preferredMust possess strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skillsStrong attention to detail with excellent analytical capabilitiesAbility to effectively work independently and in a team environmentValid Driver’s License and clean DMV report are a mustWilling to market new clients Preferred Qualifications:Nevada Professional Engineering registration highly desiredExperience with Southern Nevada building departments and their special inspections programsMulti-story concrete podium/wood structuresHigh rise hotel/casino construction experienceResidential constructionPublic works experience with roads, streets, highway constructionConstruction forensics experience related to soils/concrete/asphalt/masonryAbout UES
