Job Posting: Controls Engineer

Seeking a Controls Engineer with expertise in mechanical design and engineering to support operations in automotive manufacturing and related sectors.

Responsibilities:

Apply controls engineering and mechanical design knowledge to force analysis, standardization, processing, and CAD models Review CAD models using required software and ensure accuracy Conduct cause and effect analysis, R&M, SPC, and FMEA for projects Read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals Write routine reports and correspondence Communicate effectively with customers and employees in group settings Perform mathematical calculations related to probability, statistics, geometry, trigonometry, and practical situations Solve problems using variables in standardized situations Work on assigned projects requiring travel as needed

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, or three to five years of relevant experience in areas such as BIW, Chassis/Glass, or Special Welding, or a combination of education and experience Competence in controls engineering, force analysis, and mechanical design Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Ability to review CAD models using AutoCAD and/or NX

Preferred Skills:

Experience in automotive manufacturing Familiarity with FMEA, SPC, and R&M analysis Willingness to travel

Pay Details: $26.00 to $34.00 per hour
