Project Engineer
Job Title: Project Engineer

Job Description

Serve as a leader to the project team assigned to the design of products and systems in accordance with proposals and client specifications for commercial, institutional, and industrial water treatment projects. Review proposals or specifications from customers, prepare handover packets for the design team, and oversee jobs for manufacturing. Handle submittals and communicate with customers to clarify requirements on more complex jobs. Collaborate with Sales, Procurement, and Manufacturing teams to ensure project success.

Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Engineering discipline; Mechanical Engineering preferred (other disciplines considered based on experience)5+ years of industrial design experience involving medium and large capital projects3D modeling experience is preferred (e.g., Inventor, SolidWorks, CREO)Prior experience with commercial & industrial water treatment equipment involving water softening, media filtration, membrane technology, and specialty ion exchange technologies is a plus. This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Racine, Wisconsin and some days remote.

Work Environment

Typical hours for the engineering team are 8am-4:30pm with a 30-minute lunch.

Offers hybrid flexibility with 3 days in-house and 2 days working from home. New hires will work 100% onsite for 3-6 months for training and learning processes/products.
