You will provide materials and process support to manufacturing operations for the naval value stream. Provide support for legacy programs in the areas of process improvement, design changes, material obsolescence, tooling and fixture change modifications, etc.Work independently and manage small projectsResearch and resolve challenging materials and process issuesPerforms hands on work in test lab and on the shop floorCreate and modify drawings and solid modelsCreate and modify specifications and process documentsGenerate technical reportsPerform basic statistical analysisUtilize lean manufacturing methods to enhance manufacturing efficiencies and reduce costs.Provide a high level of service to all internal and external customers; share knowledge and lessons learned. Contribute to positive teamwork environment.Maintain clean and safe work environment. Follow safety and environmental procedures and regulations. Report safety and environmental incidents to supervisor.Perform other duties as requiredQualifications You Must Have
Requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related fieldU.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract Experience with composite materials and/or elastomeric materialsExperience with 2D and/or 3D modeling softwareQualifications We Prefer
Experience with MRP/ERP Systems, preferably SAPExperience with GD&TExperience with Lean, Six Sigma, ACE or COREExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to perform basic statistical analysisProficient with Microsoft Office suiteExperience with SolidWorks or similar CAD softwareExperience performing FEA.What We Offer

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
