Job Description

War on Cost has an opening for a Project Engineer to work on Systems and Product Change & Incorporation reviews of aircraft engine systems and components. The project engineer position will lead reviews, assure requirements are met, and drive quality and reliability.

Job Requirements:

Responsibilities of the Project Engineer will include supporting execution of systems, product design change, and incorporation reviews.Work with systems, product engineering, and manufacturing integrated product team members to identify reviewers, schedule, host, and participate in reviews.Record meeting minutes, actions items, attendees, and update electronic product databases.Process workflow requests for post-review requirements in accordance with engineering standard work.Monitor, track, and close actions and reviews working with the responsible team members to ensure completeness based on regulation requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent experience or an Advance Degree in related field with minimum 1-3 years’ experienceAbility to use Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) and electronic databasesCandidate must have good written and oral presentation skillsAbility to host and facilitate reviews using electronic software, communicate with customers, and efficiently track and manage incoming requests.US Citizenship required due to government contracts.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with aircraft and or engine engineering processesExperience in Product Data Management (PDM) or Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) as a Project Leader, Engineer, or related position.Experience with SharePoint and Teamcenter PLM systems
