Job Description:

Are you passionate about developing world-class outdoor power equipment? AriensCo is looking for a dynamic Project Engineer to join our team! In this role, you’ll not only support the enhancement of existing products but also lead a multi-disciplinary team through all technical aspects of new product development.

You’ll be responsible for upfront planning, resourcing, and maintaining the project schedule. Working closely with the Platform Manager, you’ll take charge of the technical development of new products, ensuring they meet our high standards.

THE DAY TO DAY...

Lead the multidisciplinary technical team that delivers new product development projects

Work with Platform Manager(s) and other functional groups to develop project plan and resource estimates

Prepare engineering documents including scoping, cost estimates, capital expenditures, project schedules, and requirements documents

Conduct and lead recurring team meetings and breakout technical discussions

Maintain project action tracking documents and drives for completion of open activities

Work with Product Director, Platform Manager, and Product Manager to convert customer language into Product Requirements

Coordinate technical design reviews related to product development for platforms and ensures implementation of decisions

Coordinate with and provides technical information to other groups as required. These groups would include Design, Tooling, Internal/External Engineering, Sourcing, Testing, Analysis, Manufacturing Engineering, Tech Pubs, Industrial Design, Marketing/Sales, Service Group, and Operations

Provide updates to executive leadership on project status

Provide technical leadership – function as an engineer when necessary

Engage with Product Conformance group to ensure necessary conformance standards and expectations are met

THE QUALIFICATIONS...

Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from four-year accredited school required

Minimum of 7 years of experience related to the duties outlined
