Job Description
Our Project Engineer will have mechanical engineering and multi-project management experience. The role involves designing to our quality standards and upholding them while meeting our completion timeline. The engineer will collaborate with operations to meet all requirements for our customer’s satisfaction.
ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, or computer-generated reports.Design in conformance with ISO regulations and standards.Function in a team-oriented environment to accomplish tasks, adjust to changes, increase productivity, and complete large projects.Serve multiple customers actively and address their product requests.Revise products based on customer change order requests.Observe and refine design and production processes based on feedback.Maintain documents in a secure digital format (e.g., prints, models, quotes).Provide support to the Manufacturing, SMARTFLOW®, and Sales teams.Perform multiple tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously while performing various other duties as assigned.Advocate for a clean and organized environment and assist operations in 5S.Essential SkillsBachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.2-4 years of engineering experience with product development and project management.3+ years of managing multiple projects.Required Solidworks experience; Creo is a plus.Proficient in the use of computers and programs including Microsoft Office/365.Ability to understand GD&T tolerances and apply them in the processing of hard and soft metals and plastics.Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (Globalshop).Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in product development.Knowledge of GD&T.Experience with Creo software.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Work Environment
This position is based on-site, with work conducted both in-office and on the floor. The facility is temperature controlled and fosters a great company culture with training programs. The team is small, allowing for project autonomy.
