British American Tobacco Sweden has an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer in Malmö
British American Tobacco (BAT) are extending the Engineering team in our Malmö Snus factory Fiedler and Lundgren (F&L) with a Project Engineer.
BAT see a huge potential in the smokeless tobacco segment and are acting accordingly by strengthening marketing and sales organizations. Focus is growing market shares. Consequently, from this the demands on production site in Malmö will rise. Manufacturing complexity is constantly growing due to new machine technology and initiatives from marketing.
To support the demands from BAT the job holder need to keep updated with new technology and improve the knowhow in production. Promote new structured ways of working and have an agile mindset toward changes in production.
You would be joining a team consisting of 3 people/roles: Engineering Manager and two Project Engineers (one such position is subject for this advert). In addition, our team is bolstered by consultants in the area of Project Management and CAD.
Our team manages Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) for the factory and delivers end to end projects in relation with manufacturing technology, thus securing the growth of the business throughout the upcoming years.
We are extending the team to be able to support the upcoming projects and growth journey of our factory.

Who are we looking for?
Minimum Bachelor degree in an engineering field relevant for manufacturing (such as but not limited to mechanical, process, automation engineering)3-5 years’ relevant experience working with engineering projects within manufacturing environment.Profound technical knowledge and interest.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with employees at all levelsDetailed knowledge in project management.Service minded and flexibleStructured and task oriented. Objective oriented.Proficient in spoken and written English; Swedish language is a nice to have Medium computer skills in Microsoft (MS) office. Experience in MS Power Platform is beneficialKnowledgeable about CAD drawing. Preferred AutoCAD.Knowledge of Swedish, European, or international standards is good to have. The workplace is at Stenåldersgatan 23 in Malmö.
It consists of a factory that runs 24x7 and an office area. Normal working hours are Mon-Fri 8:00-16:00 with flexible hours.
