Introduction:
Join our dedicated team as a Project Engineer, where you will support utility-level electric distribution projects. ENTRUST is an industry leader in power, known for supporting utilities, co-ops, and municipalities throughout the US.
Responsibilities:
This position requires you to be located in the New York or New England area (Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont). Enjoy the perks of remote flexibility with some travel required!
As a Project Engineer, you'll be responsible for performing the conceptual and detailed design of overhead and underground electric distribution systems ranging from 4kV to 69kV. You'll collaborate closely with senior engineers and Project Managers, while also helping to guide junior engineers. Your role will involve leading small to medium projects, interacting independently with clients, and ensuring that the quality control process is followed meticulously, including the use of the Quality Review Tracking tool for engineering, formatting, and independent reviews. Additionally, you'll create detailed drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for distribution systems, ensuring projects are executed efficiently and according to client requirements.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or related engineering discipline, from an accredited university 4+ years of hands-on experience in designing and supporting electric distribution projects Experience collaborating with various internal and external engineers, project managers, and stakeholders Ability to guide and/or mentor junior engineers Ability to travel 10-20% locally and domestically as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
EIT or PE License Knowledge of Computer Aided Design or GIS Design
