We are currently seeking a highly organised, motivated and innovative Project Engineer to assist in the delivery of maintenance and renewal project on the Auckland Harbour Bridge. This role reports to the Project Manager and will work closely with operational employees and engineering teams.

The Role:

You will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager with the delivery of the Auckland Harbour Bridge Refurbishment project. Responsibilities include:

Managing site personnel Achieving commercial project deliverables on time and within budget Relationship Management Cost Estimation Programming Cost tracking and forecasting Project Administration; and Ensuring full compliance with HSEQ requirements

Requirements:

Applicants must currently be eligible to work in NZ. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent vocational experience in civil, mechanical or electrical engineering. 5 years of project experience for a contractor or similar industry. A full New Zealand driver's license. Project administration experience. Cost estimating experience in the maintenance or construction sectors. Scheduling with MS Project or Primavera P6 preferred. Excellent literacy and numeracy skills are required. Experience in the maintenance and construction of steel structures and industrial coatings is highly desirable. Comfortable working at height.
