Project Engineer

We’re always looking towards the future, anticipating changes in medical science and technology. **Primary Function:** + Ensure the execution of the capital project on processes, equipment, plant facilities are compliance with the Safety and GMP policies, procedures, standards, and statutory requirement + Deliver projects independently on time, on budget and in scope. + Manage project capital and expense cash flow budgets. + Manage project cost status-raise Purchase Orders, process invoices on a timely manner + Provide timely project status review + Manage key portfolios in Project Management Office such as Capital Planning, Site Master Planning, Shutdown Planning, Drawings Management and Metrics Reporting. **Major Responsibilities:** + Implement plant continuous improvement projects and cost saving efforts. + Lead and implement workflow streamlining projects in the company. + Manage reward and recognition and employee engagement programs in the organization. + Perform data analysis on production data and identify opportunity for improvement. + Manage various improvement programs and workstreams in the plant, track and report benefits of projects. + Drive continuous improvement culture and mindset in the organization. + Any other duties as assigned by supervisor. **Requirements:** + Bachelor Degree in Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical or in related discipline + Ideally 6-8 years’ experience in project management or manufacturing operations in manufacturing industry. + Experienced in project management and leading cross functional teams. + Conceptual understanding on Lean Six Sigma principles and Focused Problem Solving skills. + Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills and negotiation skills. + Proficient in statistical analysis, process mapping, graphic design skills will be an advantage. + Knowledge in Project management skills. + Able to react efficiently to situation and able to work independently. *Kindly note this position is based in Tuas.
