Job Description
We are looking for a Project Engineer or an entry-level Assistant Superintendent with very strong computer skills. The ideal candidate should have experience in Data Centers and the Electrical field. Training will be provided for specific requirements.
ResponsibilitiesAssist in understanding project contracts, schedules, and overall scope.Support the maintenance of the project schedule and track daily progress.Help verify work completion and assist in managing Subcontractor and Vendor invoices.Assist in securing necessary permits and lien releases from Subcontractors and Vendors.Collaborate with the Project Scheduler to develop short-term progress schedules.Help prepare and distribute daily logs to keep all stakeholders informed.Help coordinate necessary inspections, testing, and surveying activities.Prepare agendas for regular construction meetings and take meeting minutes.Promote site safety and security, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.Assist in enforcing quality and workmanship standards for all finished products.Work with the Site Superintendent to identify scope gaps and assist in preparing change orders.Maintain communication logs and assist in preparation of pre-punch list items.Collaborate with the Project Site Engineer to ensure all project information is up-to-date in ProCore.Participate in site safety training sessions and assist in conducting weekly 'Tool Talks'.Support the generation and confirmation of information needed for monitoring and modifying the project schedule.Participate in scope reviews of bid packages to ensure proper coordination and avoid omissions.Monitor subcontractor performance and assist in ensuring adequate workforce availability.Maintain documentation, including daily reports, job diaries, and other required records.Essential SkillsProficiency in switchgear, power distribution, and electrical systems.Experience in construction and construction management.Knowledge of MEP engineering, HVAC, CRAH units, data centers, and commissioning.Experience with UPS systems.Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or Engineering.Experience with Excel and Microsoft Office Programs.Ability to travel 100%.Experience in electrical and commercial construction.Proficiency in ProCore and OSHA regulations.Mechanical skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications1 year of relevant experience.Experience with ProCore software for daily logs, RFIs, and submittals.Experience with Microsoft Project for scheduling.Work Environment
Will be starting out in Phoenix, AZ. Can also travel to any of the following states in the future. (WA, AL, AZ, VA, TX, FL or PA). This position involves working on construction sites and traveling around the country. The role will start at a Microsoft Data Center, following a schedule of 3 weeks on-site and 1 week working remotely. Benefits include a year-long contract with potential for extension, travel and expenses covered, 401k, 2 weeks PTO, dental/vision/medical insurance, $60 cell phone reimbursement, and 10 paid holidays. (NO PER DIEM)
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $100000.00
