Position Overview We are looking for a bright and energetic engineer to be a leader in driving improvement in our S13 Powertrain as Assignment Managers for the Red Arrow process. As we are now in production with the S13 Powertrain, we will have many opportunities for improvement that will require cross-functional leadership and direction. Our newly formed S13 Red Arrow team will be responsible to coordinate that work and ensure our customers needs are met. Responsibilities + Lead, organize, and report out on assignments + Learn the Traton Red General Milestones and drive assignments thru them + Coordinate and lead the cross-functional team at International Motors and coordinate the work across the Traton brands + Secure that the team delivers solutions for customers while balancing time, cost, and quality + Ensure your assignments stay on the agreed time plan and escalate as needed when they do not + Responsible for making sure decisions happen in a timely fashion + Communicate and visualize the assignment process – update in tracking systems and prepare reports as needed + Secure approval for expenses, investments and part price changes driven by your assignments Minimum Requirements + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science + At least 5 years of experience in product design/development and/or computer science experience OR + Master’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science + At least 3 years of experience in product design/development and/or computer science experience OR + PhD in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science Additional Requirements + Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
