At Lockheed Martin, we are dedicated to advancing the capabilities of the Aegis Weapon System through comprehensive integration, development, and testing under the Aegis Baseline computer program. We support the Combat Systems Engineering Development Site (CSEDS) in ensuring the operational readiness and performance excellence of critical naval defense systems.
The Work
Assist AEGIS Weapon and Combat Systems (AWS/ACS) Maintenance Manager with task requirements at the Combat Systems Engineering Development Site (CSEDS). Task requirements include preventive and corrective maintenance, modifications and upgrades of equipment and firmware, and operational support for associated equipment and systems.
AWS equipment includes both SPY-1B/D and SPY-1D(V) special purpose radars, Command & Control (C&D) and Weapons Control System (WCS) equipment, Fire Control System (FCS), Operational Readiness and Test System (ORTS), and Vertical Launch System (VLS). ACS equipment includes Audio/Visual systems, Gun Weapons Systems (GWS), Data Multiplexing Systems (FODMS, GEDMS), Electronic Warfare Systems (EWS), Navigation systems (GPS, INS, NAVSSI, GPNTS, TACAN), Tactical Tomahawk Weapon Control System (TTWCS), Harpoon Weapon System (HWS), Identification Friend/Foe (IFF), Interior and Exterior Communications (ICOM, EXCOM, LINK11/16, SRQ-4), Search Radars (SPQ-9B, SPS-67, SPS-77), Underwater Weapon Systems (UWS, LAMPS), 400Hz and SPY-6 1000v power conversion modules (PCM), and other appropriate systems.
Who you are
Candidates for this position should possess a background in preparation and implementation of Self-Audits, Radiation Hazard (RADHAZ) Control, as well as equipment trouble ticket response and Trouble Failure Report (TFR) submission. This position is responsible to assist with Quality Assurance (QA) and Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) inspections and witnessing of events, as needed, as well as support as Cost Account Manager (CAM) for appropriate Site shop orders and projects.

Basic Qualifications:
- 5 years of professional experience

- In-depth Aegis system knowledge/experience including all Combat System (ACS) elements.
- Ability to obtain & maintain a DoD clearance at the SECRET level. U.S. Citizenship required.
