Job Description
Manage solar construction projects of various sizes and complexities from pre-construction to project closeout independently and autonomously, ensuring planned profits are met or exceeded. Understand and utilize Project Management processes and tools including project scheduling, financial reporting, budget management, project communications plans, contracts, BIM tools, and other related processes.
ResponsibilitiesManage all financial aspects of projects.Listen to client and subcontractor concerns, identify issues, and react accordingly.Provide conceptual information to groups to illustrate ideas and concepts.Facilitate and lead productive and effective meetings.Prepare project baseline schedules and schedule updates throughout the project life cycle, using actual versus baseline to substantiate delays and impacts as appropriate.Track and manage project financial budget vs. actuals, and mitigate any discrepancies.Track field productivity estimate vs. actual, and implement course corrections to protect labor budget and project profit.Own project safety, including weekly audits and incident investigation and reporting, contributing positively to the company's safety culture.Identify project impacts and delays, provide timely notifications per contract documents, and prepare detailed documentation to submit claims.Solve problems by understanding their root causes, developing solutions, and following through with implementation.Comprehend complex project concepts and manage them for success.Travel overnight 3-4 days per week throughout the Midwest.Essential SkillsExperience in project management, construction, and construction management.Experience managing solar construction projects from pre-construction to project closeout.Proficiency in project scheduling, budget management, and communication plans.Knowledge of design, RFI, change orders, and project engineering.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree and 1+ years of relevant experience.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $120000.00
