Job Title: Project Manager Job Description The Project Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of a project from concept to commissioning. This role ensures that projects are completed to the customer specification and manages safety, quality, efficiency, and ensures budgets and timelines are met. This role requires strong organizational skills, leadership abilities, and attention to detail to manage multiple ongoing projects effectively. Responsibilities + Manage large-scale refrigeration construction projects from award through to commissioning and final punch list. + Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, including owners and general contractors, to ensure clarity of project expectations and delivery. + Review and manage project contracts, ensuring alignment with scope and terms. + Collaborate with multiple trades to ensure seamless execution, keeping projects on track in terms of both quality and timelines. + Develop, maintain, and adhere to detailed project schedules, ensuring alignment with overall contractor schedules. + Ensure proper staffing levels, and manage the procurement of materials, tools, and equipment for timely delivery to project sites. Essential Skills + Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME preferred). + Minimum of 5-7 years of experience managing large-scale industrial refrigeration or related projects (e.g., HVAC, commercial refrigeration, or heavy industrial construction). + Proven leadership abilities, with experience managing cross-functional teams of engineers, technicians, and subcontractors. + Strong negotiation skills to ensure cost-effective procurement and the ability to solve complex issues independently within project constraints. + Ability to make independent business decisions within budget, seeking guidance only when dealing with exceptionally difficult issues. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Expertise in ammonia and CO2-based refrigeration systems, with a deep understanding of relevant safety and environmental regulations. + Professional Engineering License. + Ability and willingness to travel to construction sites nationwide.
