Product Engineering Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide technical assistance for all engineering activities and assignments during the product development and manufacturing process. Each day, you will ensure the activities related to all engineering disciplines within the project are executed in an efficient and cost-effective manner. You will work closely with the Project Manager, Operations, Quality, Procurement and Agile team, providing the support necessary for the localization of new products to the factory.This is an on-site position based in Senatobia, MS. Relocation assistance may be provided. This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Power division in the United States. You will be mainly accountable for:•\tDetermining offered solutions and product versions, including the extent of standard and non-standard solution scope to meet customer requirements.•\tWorking independently using solid competency in technologies, tools, and methods to solve critical issues.•\tSupporting technical reviews and participating in core technical meetings.•\tCoordinating technical support for the resolution of technical issues.

Qualifications for the role

Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or similar strongly preferred. Knowledge of manufacturing technologies, equipment, tools.A very good knowledge of MS Office, 2D/3D CAD systems.Knowledge and experience with ABB Smart Power product families are a plus.Knowledge of project management tools (MS Project / Wrike or similar)Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
