Job DescriptionPerformance Contracting is seeking an experienced Project Engineer for its Indianapolis 551 operations based in Carmel, IN. This individual will:
Perform labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenancePrepare RFI’s and submittalsQuantitative takeoffs to verify estimates, order materials, and price change ordersCreate and implement job schedules and coordinate with field supervisors and foremenCreate and manage punch lists and job closeout documentation Support the Quality Control measures outlined in the QA/QC program Requirements
Basic Requirements:
2-4 years of relevant professional experience in construction management (e.g., Field Engineer, Project Engineer, etc.) requiredMust have Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, or related discipline, or comparable work experienceMust have OSHA 30 certificationWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, etc.Possess clear understanding of how to read and understand specifications and drawingsShowcase strong oral and written communication skillsAbility to thrive both independently and within a collaborative team environmentAbility to learn new job skills by engaging in the technical aspects of the job and applying new skills as they are taughtCustomer service skills and ability to build strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and employees at all levelsDisplays critical thinking and problem-solving skillsAbility to prioritize, work on multiple tasks concurrently, and meet deadlinesMotivated self-starter with strong work ethic and willingness to take initiativeWorks well under pressure and deadlinesPreferred Requirements:
Experience with insulation and/or specialty services is preferredLocal to the Indianapolis metro areaThis role is not eligible for employer visa sponsorship.
