Job Title: Project EngineerJob Description The Project Engineer will be responsible for tracking progress and performing change drawings. This role requires proficiency in AutoCAD, construction, and field experience. The Project Engineer will support Project Managers in the execution of blueprints, with tasks including layouts and measurements, lift drawings, shop drawings, RFIs (requests for information), obtaining materials for the crew, material take-offs (verifying the amount of materials), updating drawings, and witnessing tests of installations. Responsibilities + Track progress and perform change drawings. + Support Project Managers in the execution of blueprints. + Perform layouts and measurements. + Create lift drawings and shop drawings. + Handle RFIs (requests for information). + Obtain materials for the crew. + Verify the amount of materials through material take-offs. + Update drawings as needed. + Witness tests of installations. Essential Skills + Proficiency in AutoCAD. + Field construction experience. + Experience in construction project management. + Ability to interpret blueprints for construction crew. + Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and office tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or a related field. + 0-3 years of field construction experience. + 0-3 years of project management experience. Work Environment The company is one of the largest general contractors in Southeast Wisconsin, with a beautiful new office near the stadium in Milwaukee. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $37.74 - $37.74 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
