Job Description: Project Engineer
The Project Engineer is responsible for the mechanical design and development of sheet metal products. This individual will work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, manufacturing, and quality teams. Responsibilities include reviewing customer specifications, completing designs, alerting purchasing about needed materials, updating the BOM, and releasing designs into production. The role involves working on various branding solutions such as LED signage and scoreboards, designing different variants using Solidworks, with a strong emphasis on product development.
Responsibilities
+ Review customer specifications and complete the design process.
+ Alert purchasing to required materials.
+ Update the Bill of Materials (BOM).
+ Release designs into production.
+ Collaborate with sales, marketing, manufacturing, and quality teams.
+ Design and develop sheet metal products using Solidworks.
+ Work on branding solutions including LED signage and scoreboards.
+ Ensure product development and design variants.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or relevant experience with an Associate's Degree).
+ 6+ months of Solidworks design experience with sheet metal or structural steel.
+ 6+ months of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with sheet metal fabrication.
+ Project management skills.
+ Detail-oriented with mechanical design and engineering knowledge.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with EPDM software.
+ Hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
+ Engineering experience with electro-mechanical products.
+ Experience drafting in AutoCAD.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $68000.00
