Job Title: Project EngineerJob Description This position offers an opportunity to shape new products from scratch and improve existing ones. The candidate will work closely with customers to develop system concepts, technical requirements, and product specifications. Additionally, the candidate will lead the technical team throughout the development lifecycle. Responsibilities + Develop system concepts, technical requirements, and product specifications. + Lead the technical team throughout the development lifecycle. + Manage all technical aspects of projects, including underwater acoustics, navigation, and electronic systems. + Generate technical requirements and specifications, and manage requirements, compliance traceability, and verification. + Develop architecture, define interfaces, model systems, develop algorithms, analyze data, and conduct trade studies. + Provide technical leadership throughout the development lifecycle. + Report progress to management and customer representatives. + Support systems integration and customer trial activities. Essential Skills + Electrical engineering + Project management + Experience with the Department of Defense (DoD) + Experience in managing technical aspects of projects + Knowledge of underwater acoustics, navigation, and electronic systems Additional Skills & Qualifications + Ability to generate technical requirements and specifications + Requirement management, compliance traceability, and verification + Architecture development, interface definition, system modeling, algorithm development, data analysis, and trade studies + Providing technical leadership throughout the development lifecycle + Effective progress reporting to management and customer representatives + Support for systems integration and customer trial activities Work Environment The work environment involves close collaboration with technical teams and customers. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $220000.00 Benefits include medical, dental and vision, life insurance, paid vacation and sick time, 3% 401K contribution (no matching required), company events.
