Job Description A client in New Orleans is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Engineer to oversee technical projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between engineering teams, management, and clients, ensuring projects are executed efficiently, within budget, and meet quality standards. This role combines technical expertise with strong organizational and communication skills to manage resources, schedules, and deliverables efficiently. Key responsibilities: Project Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and technical requirements. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets. Identify resource needs and allocate them effectively. Technical Coordination: Work with engineering teams to ensure designs and deliverables align with project requirements. Oversee the integration of various engineering disciplines to achieve project goals. Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, and documentation. Execution and Monitoring: Track project progress and ensure milestones are achieved on schedule. Monitor costs and manage budgets to avoid overruns. Identify and mitigate risks or issues that may impact project timelines or quality. 4. Collaboration and Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal teams. Provide regular updates on project status, challenges, and resolutions to stakeholders. Facilitate communication across multidisciplinary teams. Quality Assurance: Ensure that projects meet applicable standards, regulations, and quality benchmarks. Conduct regular inspections and reviews to verify compliance with specifications. . Project Closure: Oversee final inspections, testing, and handovers. Prepare detailed project reports and documentation for future reference. Analyze project outcomes to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
