Project Engineer

My client is a well established mechanical contractor looking to bring on a Project Engineer to their growing team. They are supporting a major educational project the state and need someone to support their project management and field supervision team. This position will require someone to manage construction documents, assist with subcontractor management and various other tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone to join a growing firm with leadership development.

Description:

Provides administrative and technical functions to multiple construction projects including submittals, RFIs, scheduling assistance, document organization, processing owner and subcontract AIA bills, subcontract coordination, cost engineering, and general project administration.Ability to read blue prints and perform quantity take-offBasic understanding of construction means and methods and proceduresResponsible for set up of project filesResponsible for administration of project closeoutAssist with development of trade scope packages-Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Qualified candidates must have a associate's degree, but preferably a bachelor's degree, in a construction-related discipline (or equivalent experience) and experience in construction management.Ability to read blue prints and perform quantity take-off

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $48.07/hr.
