Job Title: Project Engineer
Job Description

We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our team. The Mechanical Project Engineer will manage medium to small-sized projects ($20K-$250K machines or machined parts) through all parts of the manufacturing process. This person will also be responsible for updating the customer on the status of their projects.

ResponsibilitiesManage medium to small-sized projects through all parts of the manufacturing process.Update customers on the status of their projects.Utilize SolidWorks for parts, assemblies, and drawings.Apply knowledge of steel fabrication and project management for fabricated parts with DOD customers.Engage in machine design and quoting.Essential Skills5+ years of experience with SolidWorks.Demonstrated knowledge of proper CAD/Drafting techniques.Experience in project management.Knowledge of steel fabrication and project management of fabricated parts with DOD customers.Additional Skills & QualificationsAccredited courses in Six Sigma (Yellow, White, Green Belts).Knowledge of Supply Chain Fundamentals, Quality Management, Leadership/Business Process Improvement.Work Environment

The work environment includes a custom engineered equipment company located in Crestwood, MO, specializing in unique applications in the boat industry. The company has been in business for over 130 years, designing and manufacturing marine deck equipment. The facility employs about 50 people, including 12 engineers and 2 PEs, with 80% of the products being custom built. The work involves collaboration with the Navy and Army Corps of Engineers, and the products are split equally between government and private clients.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $42.00/hr.
