We are seeking a project engineer who is a subject matter expert in various technical fields and has the ability to maintain excellent personal and professional relationships while planning long-term events. The ideal candidate will have experience in a technical setting with Twin Commander aircraft. This role requires outstanding communication, exceptional leadership, and top-tier strategic skills. The project engineer will be responsible for maintaining technical control of various engineering projects with great attention to detail, while coordinating timelines and milestones with the engineering manager. This position is 70% technical and 30% project management oriented.
Responsibilities
+ Work with the engineering manager to establish project objectives, methods, and performance standards.
+ Perform research and analysis on key issues and roadblocks of the project, solving issues or delegating tasks as necessary.
+ Prepare a schedule of necessary support and personnel requirements to complete the project.
+ Hold kickoff meetings and communicate accordingly to collect all initial and follow-on data for the project.
+ Monitor project performance by establishing goals, timelines, and milestones.
+ Inform the engineering manager promptly of any schedule changes, and work closely with all stakeholders to ensure requirements are met.
+ Oversee purchase requests/orders, budgets, scheduling, and project data, reporting regularly.
+ Manage relationships with all parties, operators, vendors, government authorities, internal value streams, etc., to ensure informed decision-making on project outcomes.
+ Frequently check in on key deliverables and designate daily, weekly, and monthly tasks, setting reminders/meetings to ensure established cadences.
+ Assist with technical support for the Twin Commander aircraft type based on operator requests.

+ Competence in developing scope and parameters for project design and implementation.
+ Proficiency in identifying responsibilities and delegating tasks throughout each project phase.
+ Experience in developing and controlling the full project-plan lifecycle with key stakeholders.
+ Ability to develop technical publications for Twin Commander aircraft.
Work Environment
This role requires onsite work and includes technical support for Twin Commander aircraft.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $37.00 - $50.00/hr.
