Job Title: Project Engineer

Job Description

We manufacture seats and interior components for cars, motorcycles, and recreational vehicles. Our facilities are located in Ohio, Alabama, Nebraska, Texas, Indiana, Canada, Brazil, and Mexico, with a team of over 7,000 associates. Our New Castle, IN facility focuses on seat manufacturing and assembly. We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our engineering team to help implement processes that will improve the overall efficiency of the plant. This role is a new addition due to two new production lines coming into the facility in 2025.

ResponsibilitiesManage up to 20 projects simultaneously, ranging from small 3-week projects to new production lines that take months.Track project scheduling, monitor progress, and ensure teammates remain on task.Design parts for fixtures using Solidworks.Work hands-on with equipment in the facility and troubleshoot/edit PLCs.Perform plant layout work using Autodesk software.Pull parts/drawings and convert them from 3D to 2D.Essential SkillsAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering.3+ years of experience in a Project Engineering/Management role in a manufacturing environment.Experience troubleshooting and editing PLCs.Experience working with CAD software (preferably Solidworks and Autodesk).Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience managing large amounts of projects at one time (upwards of 20+).Balanced experience in Project Management and PLC troubleshooting.Work Environment

Our facility has 597 employees and operates 3 shifts, primarily manufacturing automotive seats using robotic welders. The facility is clean, quiet, and climate-controlled. This position is on the first shift with core hours from 8am to 3pm, with some flexibility. Minimal weekend work may be required for large projects. Uniforms are provided.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.06 - $43.27/hr.
