Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer with experience in land development, water and sewer projects, stormwater management, erosion control, parking lots, and road design. This position involves designing and producing plans for various land development projects including commercial sites, subdivisions, apartment buildings, roads, and more.
ResponsibilitiesDesign and produce plans for land development projects.Work on commercial sites, subdivisions, apartment buildings, roads, and more.Conduct grading, drainage, water and sewer, pump station, erosion control, and road design.Research local requirements, laws, and ordinances that affect the design.Document requirements from Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs).Prepare engineering reports.Coordinate with project reviewers.Adhere to drafting and design standards.Review work for compliance with standards before submitting to Project Manager.Perform other related duties as assigned.Essential SkillsBachelor’s degree in Engineering.4 years’ experience in engineering design.Experience using AutoCAD (AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred).Experience in land/site development design and permitting.Additional Skills & QualificationsProfessional Engineering license with the capability of getting licensed in Georgia, Florida, and South Carolina (preferred, but not required).Work Environment
This position is based in an office setting in downtown Jacksonville.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $65000.00/yr.
